German degree
- Applicants should have a good first university degree.
- Candidates are required to have a very good knowledge of English. A working knowledge of German is advisable.
Applications should be made by 30 April of the year in which the student intends to start the course. Please use the application form available as a download in PDF format. Please submit copies of the original certificates. Copies of copies are not valid.
You are welcome to submit your application as a PDF via email in addition to the hard copy sent by post to make sure you meet the deadline.

Language test certificates are required from all applicants with the exception of native speakers. For further details please see the application form. In order to avoid delays, please arrange for test centres to send the test certificate to the Centre for British Studies, Mohrenstraße 60, 10117 Berlin rather than to Humboldt University's main postal address.
