Evi Heinz is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the Einstein Foundation-funded project “Boundaries of Cosmopolis” co-led by Prof. Stefano Evangelista (University of Oxford) and Prof. Gesa Stedman (HU Berlin). Before taking up this position in 2023, she was a Research Associate in Book Studies at the English Department, University of Münster. She holds a PhD in English and Humanities from Birkbeck, University of London, an MSt in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford and a BA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include English literary modernism, comparative literature, publishing history and periodical print culture. She has published several articles and book chapters on modernist print culture and is co-editor of Whitechapel Moderns: An Anthology of Modernist Culture in London’s Jewish East End (forthcoming with Edinburgh University Press). Her current research as part of the “Boundaries of Cosmopolis” project investigates the transmission of English literary culture in the Weimar Republic periodical Der Querschnitt. |
