Dr Pikay Richardson is currently a Fellow of the GBZ, a post he has held for many years. He is also a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Manchester Business School.

After finishing his PhD in 1989, Dr Richardson was appointed to a full-time lectureship position at the Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, United Kingdom, until September 2006, when he took early retirement from the School.

He is an experienced graduate management school lecturer and educator, with over 20 years of experience in teaching and supervising MBA and PhD students in the UK, USA, Germany, France, India, China, Hong Kong Singapore, Jamaica, Dubai, South Africa Nigeria and Ghana. For 18 months between 2000 and 2002, he was Research Professor and Academic Director for Executive Programmes at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey, USA. 

On top of his work as a lecturer of graduate students, Dr Richardson has many years of experience in the design and delivery of short executive development programmes for different classes of managers and executives in the UK and overseas. He also undertakes consulting work for many companies in the UK, Ghana, and Nigeria. Dr Richardson is based in Manchester, UK.
